This scenario has been created by Mark Swan.
I have borrowed units from Brian Reynold's "Dagor Bragollach"
Scenario. Also, from the Civ2 Library units.
I must say that no one has helped me on this scenario at all
and that I have totally made up the story, names of units, cities,
wonders, improvements, and others.
This scenario REQUIRES Civ2 Fantastic Worlds add-on
to work. It WILL NOT work if you don't have Fantastic Worlds.

When you first start to play the scenario, it will seem
long and impossible, but if you keep on playing, things
will spice up, and you actually start to penetrate into
the Ninkaa defense.

If you like this scenario, or if you think it should be
improved in any way, please e-mail me at edswan@nqi.net

Hints for each tribe:

NOBLE WARRIORS
You are the farthest away from the Ninkaa than any tribe and
behind the great mountains. But you have the secret underground
passages to get out of the mountains quickly by. Your first priority
should be to get Tirin out and all your knights and go down
and help the Rindon, since by the twentieth or thirtieth turn, they
will be suffering heavily. If you want, you could take Leomar
out and attack with him, but if he dies, consider the scenario
lost, since he is the greatest human warrior ever. Don't try
to penetrate Ninkaa land since you will be pretty much wiped out
before you get close. Also, in your city of Rundor, keep Renin
in the city. Rundor will eventually fall, but you might kill Soliun
or Drexda in the process, therfore gaining LOTS of money. Try to keep
peace with every civilization besides the Ninkaa.

LORAN
You are the weakest tribe, so your main priority should be to
defend your land from the Ninkaa. Roam around with Shasta
unit, killing spider or Hell wolves here and there. But if you don't
want Shasta to die, DO NOT send him down in Ninkaa land, because
he will be killed very soon if you do. If you want, you could send
your knights(which you have very few of) to attack the Ninkaa; but you
would have to pass through Rindon land, and they don't take kindly
to other tribes corssing their city areas.

SHIRAHAD
You are vulnerable in plain-land, but you are a very strong tribe
with lots of knights. Do not attack with your hero units, because
you will need them later in the game. For the sake of the scenario plot
do not attack the Malcans, instead, concentrate your efforts
on the main goal(destroying the Ninkaa). Do not make war on any
civilization except the Ninkaa, since they will penetrate your plains
and you will be severly beaten. (As the computer player, the Shirahad
will always attack the Malcans, something I've tried to fix, but couldn't, so
I made due).

GREVIANS
You have very powerful units, and lots of them too. If you want to
help the good guys, move ALL your units west into Ninkaa territory, since
they won't be expecting you, and give them an all out attack, capturing
their cities until the border of their capitol, then wait and try
to hold off their counter-offensive(which will be very nasty). Or, if you want
to help the bad guys, stay at peace with the Ninkaa, and crush the
poorly defended Malcans with all you have, then go north and crush the Shirahad.
Keep Clamaeus in Tryart at all times, you never know when the crafty
Ninkaa will stab you in the back. (As the computer player, the Grevians
will always attack the Malcans, something I planned them to do.)

MALCANS
You have the weakest units, but you have a fair number of them.
Your cities are mostly poorly defended fishing villages without
city walls. Fortunately, you are the richest civilization by far, so I would
suggest building city walls or buying them VERY soon, because the Grevians and the Shirahad
will attack you mercilessley. Load your cities up with Shramirs, and just
hold out, do not try to make a counter-offensive whatever you do, just
try to keep as many cities as you can. Also, keep peace with the Rindon, and
trade frequently with them.

RINDON
You are a very strong tribe, but you will be attacked the
hardest by the Ninkaa. Try to keep as many cities as possible
and strike back at the Ninkaa with every knight, mercenary, and
catapult available. Don't delcare war on any civilization except
the Ninkaa, and keep Thraleus in Clastian. Let the Noble Warriors move
south through your land, and be peaceable...please?(As the computer player, the Rindon
will always declare war on the Malcans, something I have tried and tried
to fix, but I can't..oh well.) Note: You will probably lose most of your cities if you play
as the Rindon.

NINKAA
DON'T PLAY THE NINKAA...THEY ARE THE BAD GUYS AND HAVE TONS AND TONS OF UNITS

RULES, RULES, RULES.

1. DO NOT trade techs with other nations.
2. DO NOT cheat.
3. DO NOT give up after the first ten or twenty turns.
4. Please e-mail me with any ideas, comments, or even criticism.

This is my very first scenario, so please be lenient with me all you
hardened, grizzled, veteran scenario makers. (just kidding).
Distribution of this scenario is highly encouraged, but please don't
sell it. Again, you can e-mail me at edswan@nqi.net. I'm sorry I have no sounds
but it would have taken way too much time to assign sounds for each unit,
I am working on it however, so just turn your sound speakers
all the way down when playing(unless you want to hear machine guns when
the spider attack.)

HOW TO WIN IN THIS SCENARIO AND HOW TO LOSE

For the Noble Warriors, Malcans, Shirahad, Rindon, and Loran, your main goal is to try
to capture the Ninkaa's capitol Ninkain, thus killing Ninkain himself. Unfortunately, I have
playtested alot, and I believe it is nearly impossible to kill Ninkain, since he is such
a strong unit. However, once the Ninkain do their blitzkrieg(the first twenty or thirty turns)
and settle down a bit, (they will have captured almost all of Rindon land, a lot of Grevian
land, and a lot of Malcan land) try to beat them back, and take as many cities possible
back from them. To put it bluntly, this will take a very long time to do, especially
at Deity level, but hey, you should be able to handle it....I think. To sum it up, if you beat
the Ninkaa back into the wastelands, and capture all of your cities back, consider the scenario
won, (unless you really WANT to try to kill Ninkain, good luck!)
Now, how to lose the scenario. If you play as the Noble Warriors, and your
Leomar unit, dies, you can consider the scenario lost, (also, obviously, if you get totally
wiped out.) So KEEP YOU LEOMAR UNIT IN SHALAMOND. For all the other tribes, if you fail to win the scenario
than obviously you've lost. For the Grevians, it's a bit more detailed, they can win two
ways, by either capturing the eastern Ninkaa cities, and staving off Ninkaa attack.
OR, they win by completely wiping out the Malcans, then crushing the Shirahad. If Tryart
falls to an enemy, consider the scenario lost.
This is a very, very, hard scenario, but IT IS possible to win. If you need
help, or other hints, e-mail me.

Thanks a lot for reading, now play already!
